Jacob Lennon Murder Case: Mother Louise Lennon and her boyfriend, Jake Drummond, were charged for the death of a 15-month-old toddler.
Louise Lennon and Jake Drummond are facing charges over the death of Jacob Lennon.
The duo is due in court on Friday for charges levied against them.
Jacob, the 15-year-old toddler, died on August 27, 2019.
On that day, paramedics reported a call regarding a child suffering a cardiac arrest in Putney district of Southwest London.
The toddler was taken to a nearby hospital and soon after was pronounced dead.
Two days later, a post-mortem investigation at Great Ormond Street Hospital confirms the cause of death due to head injury.

Louise Lennon and her boyfriend, Jake Drummond, face charges over the murder of Jacob Lennon in their home in Putney.
On Thursday, Louise, the mother of 15-month old Jabob, was charged for neglecting her child and causing or allowing her child’s death.
On the other hand, her boyfriend, Jake, was charged for the toddler’s murder and wounding him with intent.

Both of the culprits are 31 years old.
Besides that, not much information is available on the pair, especially Drummond.
In 2019, the pair were arrested on suspension of murder but got released on bail soon after.
On Thursday, both of them were charged with murder and will appear on Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Friday.
Toddler Jacob Lennon Murder Case Explained
As mentioned above, toddler Jacob Lennon suffered a cardiac arrest on August 27, 2019.
When the paramedics arrived at Louise Lennon and Jake Drummond’s residence in Putney, Southwest London, the 15-month old Jacob was unconscious.
The paramedics rushed the boy to the hospital, and soon after, he died.
After a thorough post-mortem investigation, the boy’s cause of death was due to head injury, not the sudden cardiac arrest.

The little boy suffered a cardiac arrest due to an injury that Jack inflicted upon him.
Louise didn’t stop her boyfriend, who was bashing the little boy.
The trial of the case is taking place after two years of the incident. Both the culprits will appear at the Wimbledon Magistrate Court on Friday.
