Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology under the Faculty of Medical, Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences in the above Universities include;
Chemistry, Biology and Physics
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) FUTO requires Physics, Chemistry and Biology
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology;
You require;
Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) FUTO requires at least five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;
(i) ‘A’ level passes in any two (2) of Physics Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
(ii) ND Upper Credit in Prosthesis and Orthopaedic Technology
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) FUTO requires;
a) At least ‘A’ level passes not below Grade C in any two of the following Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
b) ND/HND at Upper Credit level in Prosthetics and Orthotics.
c) First Degree in Health Sciences.
d) Very good passes in three JUPEB subjects namely Chemistry, Biology and Physics. It does not accept NCE. Candidates must in addition meet the ‘O’ Level requirements.
