A group of LGBTQ+ students has demanded Professor Kathleen Stock to be fired from the University of Sussex over her views on gender identification and trans-exclusionary views.
The university has claimed that it will not tolerate threats to ‘academic freedoms’ and is investigating activity on campus that appears to attack Prof Kathleen for exercising her academic freedoms.
They have labeled her as a Terf, which stands for trans-exclusionary radical feminist.
However, Kathleen, meanwhile, has denied transphobic accusations against her and claimed her actions were directed towards women’s safety.
Kathleen Stock is a professor of philosophy at the University of Sussex. She is an analytical philosopher and has written many articles on sexual and other forms of objections and on sexual orientation.

Kathleen Stock and her former husband have two sons together. We have little information regarding her husband and there is also not much available on the web either.
They separated after Stock came out as gay and now lives in Sussex with her new partner. After living her whole life as a straight woman, she came as a gay a little late after realizing her own sexual orientation. The LGB Alliance appointed her as a trustee in June 2021.

Kathleen became a center of attention as she gained public attention for her views on gender identification. She called for trans women with male genitalia to be excluded from woman’s changing rooms, characterizing them as ‘still males’.
Stock also expressed her gender-critical views on the UK Gender Recognition Act on proposed reforms and trans-self-identification.
