Growing up on the family farm in Loa, Utah, a rural town about 150 miles south of BYU, helped to form her husband’s outlook on life and quirky sense of humor. In farm towns, he notes, “There’s a lot of people in farm towns missing body parts,”
Porter Ellett works as a senior assistant to the head coach of the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs. In 2017, he was hired as the team’s head coach’s assistant, a role he continues to occupy today.
