Pooch Hall was born Marion H. Hall Jr. on February 8, 1977 in Brockton, Massachusetts. He spent most of his early life in his hometown, attending Brockton High School and later the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, where he was part of the UMass Dartmouth Theater Company. Growing up, Pooch was quite athletic and was interested in sports, particularly boxing.
