Sam Quek, the former British field hockey player, is rumored to be pregnant with her second child at the moment.

As a field hockey player, Sam represented England and Great Britain, flaunting number 13 jerseys, and went on to win the Gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics with GB.

Following her success in sports, the 33-year-old established herself on television as well and has presented American football on the BBC, rugby union on Channel, and many others.

Quek even took part in reality shows as a contestant in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 and Celebrity Masterchef in 2020. And in 2021, won  £16,000 on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Yes, Sam Quek is again pregnant with her husband, Tom Mairs, as confirmed from photos on her Instagram.

On January 6, she posted an ultrasound picture of her unborn baby. However, the first announcement was made back in November by Sam, just seven months of delivering her first baby, a daughter, Molly.

Quek always wanted to have a big family, but her second pregnancy was out of the blue, less anticipated, as per the former Olympian.

In the Ultrasound post, Sam joking writes, “Something tells me this little one is going to be trouble.” Looking at the pictures, the unborn child looks swearing at her, which created a humorous environment in the comment section.

Among the comments, the Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh wrote, “What a picture!!!!!!!!!!! ?.”

Sam Quek’s daughter Molly and her new baby girl’s age gap is supposed to be one year apart.

According to Mirror, the former British field hockey player’s due date is on March 2. However, Sam seems unconvinced as she believed it could take longer than the declared time. Her husband, Tom Mairs, said,” We didn’t think it would happen so quickly.” 

The couple seems delighted as there won’t be a significant age difference between their children.

Tom Mairs, full name Thomas Miars, Sam Quek’s husband, is a property entrepreneur, according to The Sun.

Furthermore, Tom even appeared on British television, when he featured on Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire.

The English couple first met at a bar in Liverpool around eight years ago and has been together ever since.

In June 2017, they got engaged, and the next year in August, they exchanged vows at Chester Racecourse. Mairs and Quek became parents in March 2021 to a baby girl Molly.
