Call it an oddly unlikely coincidence or whatever name you like, but youths are destroying the city of Nairobi to the core. Yes, recently some local gangs (names withheld) formed mainly by teenagers in the slum areas of Kenya are said to be some of the most feared criminal gangs in Kenya. Said group is made up of hundreds of youths, all of stony hearts who appear to be professionals with guns and an insatiable hunger for money. These gangs of teenagers are just a stone’s throw away from transitioning into serious monstrous criminals capable of producing mind-boggling and deadly vices that continually make them appear as terrorists in CNN’s headlines.

Meet Tomaso, a suspected gangster from one of the local gangs.
He was reportedly shot dead by police recently. The officers who got him were hunting down criminals in Nairobi.
Based on a Kenyan commenter list:
A week ago, Tomaso’s friend and accomplice named Lenny was also shot by the police.
Tomaso had even changed his Facebook profile picture and placed Lenny’s picture in honor of his comrade’s death. God had warned him when his friend was killed, but Tomaso didn’t study and still pursued his cause.
Weeks later, this is the sad and bitter ending that struck Tomaso…
A friend of a victim of a violent crime by this gang shared this story on the Kenya list:
“It just amazes me how young people try to be monkey gangsters from the States. Huyo Tomato ama ni nani ana madame kama million wenye huwasaidia kuiba… true story a friend had his phone stole hapo cubano na madame kisha wakamshow aiendee hapo buru… … And that’s how it worked.
Umalize shule last year utake kuvaa mawaya thirty na ukunywe mtembezi blue label aje sasa? Ona wengine wenzake ”
This is the kind of stuff he usually uploads to Facebook: guns, money and the like;
He finds pleasure in showing off his guns and stealing cash.
You are so right, this is what his Facebook wall looks like.
The money they have stolen from innocent or rather poor Kenyans who will do anything to meet their needs.
They handle cool stolen money;
These gangs don’t even show a slight remorse when showing off stolen money.
Always proud to make public the stolen money they take from hardworking citizens.
Mid-teens with the meanest of intentions.
Anyway, read this Facebook post from a gang member who took to the platform to express his urge to rape Nairobi women for their indecent clothing!
Or this other post where a member of the gangs offers his “services” to a young desperate lady on Facebook.
This chain indicates a member (Mike Sonko Style);
Speaking of religion, Jamaican dancehall artist, Vybz Kartel is what they bow to. They are right to call him their “God.”
The photo below shows a Kenyan teenager holding up a Bible while worshiping Jamaican artist Vybz Kartel, who is currently in prison and facing murder charges.
Though fate has taken its toll, these teenage gangs are just plain cool and a serious reminder that crime means paying with your life. The video below shows it all…
Here’s a video of the young gangsters being arrested… I think the government has pushed them into the weird world of prison by now.
Youth gangs like the ones above can start as a result of desperation due to the poor state of the economy. However, they conveniently forget that there are some people who are still trying to make an honest living, struggling every day to make the best of horrible situations. These are the people they take their hard earned money from and because of this it is sometimes difficult to feel sad about the sad ending of some of these youth gangs stories when they are unable to feel sad for others.
