Florida native Phillip Sovan is a professional wakeboarder and he has an estimated net worth of $500 thousand. Also known as the “Ice Man” to his fellow competitors, he has been a pro longer than most of the pros in the industry today. He is only 23 years old and he became a professional wakeboarder at the age of 11. Since he joined, he was already notable as a killer on the start dock of any contest. He has virtually won every major competition in wakeboarding.
Phil Soven has won twice in the world championships, the King of Wake and the Pro Tour. In 2007, he became the first rider in history to win all the prizes in the same years: the Pro World title, the King of Wake title, and the WWA World Series title. He is one of the most technically calculated riders in the world which makes him the perfect addition to the ARMA arsenal of athletes.
Phillip has a number of endorsement deals. He has also launched a series of successful business ventures. He lives a lavish life in a large house by the private lake. Currently, he is one of the cast members of the new MTV reality series, WakeBrothers, along with his brother Bob Soven. The show follows both the personal and professional lives of wakeboarding sibling superstars, Phil and Bob. It began airing in August 2010.
