Peter Kenneth Bio – Parents, Son, Daughter, Wife, Family and Net Worth

Peter Kenneth is a well-known Kenyan politician who has risen to become one of the most respected people in the country. He is from Murang’a County in Gatanga Constituency. Kenneth has made a name for himself in the political history of Kenya for many years through his services. He has always been associated with clean politics; One of the reasons why his popularity in Kenyan politics remains unique and almost unparalleled.

Peter Kenneth Bio, Parents

On November 27, 1965, Peter Kenneth was born in Bahati. It was here that the man who would grow up to be regarded as a muthungu (white man) began his life because of his way of doing things. Peter was raised by a single parent – his mother, with whom he lived in a single apartment. His harsh upbringing may have contributed to his desire to work hard and improve the lives of other people, especially those who are less fortunate.

Peter Kenneth received his initial education from the Bahati Uhuru Elementary Schools. From there he went to Starehe Boys’ Center and School for his secondary education and then to the University of Nairobi where he completed a Bachelor of Law degree.

Peter was a great soccer player, especially in his teenage years. During his school days he was a goalkeeper and played for a football club in Kenya called Reunion. During his playing tenure, he helped Reunion reach great heights in football. He only retired from football after a threatened arm fracture sustained while playing for the club.

After graduating from the University of Nairobi, Peter went to Switzerland to run an executive program at the International Institute for Management Development.

Despite being a prominent figure, many Kenyans are unaware that Peter Kenneth is a banker . The politician worked as an employee of Nationwide Finance Company for two years (1985 and 1986). He worked for Prudential Bank for 11 years where he was appointed bank manager. In his banking career he worked for the Kenya Reinsurance Company from 1997 to 2002.

In addition to his banking career, Peter Kenneth has also served as Chairman of the Football Federation of Kenya (KFF). KFF is one of the most difficult organizations to account for as Kenyan football is unpredictable. However, Peter, with his amazing leadership skills, was able to take over the presidency of the association from 1996 to 2000. During his tenure, the Kenya football team achieved one of their best performances. Unfortunately, however, he was not able to see the Harambee Stars play a major continental or world tournament, or even win a major trophy.

Peter Kenneth ventured into politics in 2002 when he vied for the Gatanga parliamentary seat in the 2002 general election, emerging as legislators and constituency representatives victorious. In addition to being a graduate engineer, he was also appointed Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning and National Development. During his tenure as MP, his constituency was voted the best in fund management.

Peter Kenneth’s political ambitions became more apparent as he ran for the presidency in 2012 . He made history by becoming a presidential candidate in Kenya with no African name. Though he lost to President Uhuru Kenyatta, his impact on the entire political divide was felt.

Indeed, it can plausibly be argued that PeterKenneth is a political icon in Kenya and one who represents the voice of the voiceless. This was evident in his campaign manifestos, which emphasized equality and great opportunities for the poor. Even if he didn’t make it in the general election, he is still seen as one of the leaders who has what it takes to change Kenya and take it to a better level.

Despite the fact that many politicians never find time for religious affairs, Peter Kenneth has been at the forefront when it comes to church affairs. He is a committed Christian and that is why he is perceived as a more godly leader in Kenya. According to his son Andrew, Peter Kenneth raised his children with strong Christian values.

Peter Kenneth Son, Daughter, Wife, Family, Wealth

Married to Anne, Peter is a great family man. Namely, the couple has two children; Andrew and Andrea. It was his son Andrew who introduced him at the launch of his presidential bid in 2013. Both his son and daughter share the same charisma that he has and has worked for him over the years.

Despite his busy political career, the politician has managed to keep his balance by always being there for his family. This is evident because he usually involves his family in all important occasions and his wife is always there to support him.

Thanks to his hard work and education, Kenneth has prepared him for many challenges and is a man of great wealth. He made his fortune mainly from the banking and finance sector, where he worked for a long time.
