London-based Dubens, 44, is one of Britain’s leading internet entrepreneurs. He specialises in buying assets at rock-bottom prices and turning them around. He started the betting website 365 Media, sold in 2007 for £96m, netting Dubens £10m. He repeated that with internet business Pipex, most of which was sold for £330m. Recently, his Oakley Capital investment operation made a £94m profit on the sale of Host Europe for £228m, just two years after buying it.
