Pep Guardiola started his career when he joined Barcelona youth academy, La Masia at the age of 13. He stayed with the youth academy for six years, honing his skills as a defensive midfielder.

He was discovered by head coach, Johan Cruyff and introduced to the senior squad when Guardiola was 20 years old. He led Barcelona in winning the 6 La Liga titles, 4 Spain Super cups, 1 European Cup, 1 UEFA Cup Winner’s Cup and 2 UEFA Super Cups during his stint as a player.

When Guardiola became the manager of Barcelona B in 2007, but he eventually landed the coaching job. The team won the Tercera Division in 2007-08. During the 2011-2012 season, he resigned coaching Barcelona and gone sabbatical in New York for a year. On January 16, 2013, Guardiola took over as the manager of Bayern Munich. He led the team in winning the Bundesliga title on March 25, 2014.
