Paul Young was born on 28th July 1973 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. He grew up with his mother in Trimdon, Station, County Durham, after his parents divorced at the age of 13. Paul Young is an alumnus of Wellfield Community School, New College Durham, and Leeds Metropolitan University.
