Patrick Monahan is an Irish-Iranian comedian who won the Take the Mike and Shows Me the Funny television competitions in 2001 and 2011. He’s a regular performer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Monahan, along with fellow comedian Bob Slayer, holds the world record for “Longest Hug” at 25 hours and 25 minutes. This record was set at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
