Freedom George, another demonstrator of the protest, Freedom Convoy, is a friend of Pat King. Just like King, he was apprehended by the officers while he was live on Facebook and was charged with mischief.
Following his arrest, the number of people arrested in connection with the movement has skyrocketed.
Was Freedom George Arrested?
Yes, Freedom George aka George Billings was arrested yesterday while he was filming facebook live for his followers. According to reports, he, like his friend Pat King, was arrested and charged with mischief.
He was telling his live audience about Pat King’s charges and how we will learn a lot more about it. He stated in the video that lawyers were retained and that the details would be revealed at the hearing on Tuesday.
On Saturday, a day after King’s arrest, he appeared in court where he was charged with four criminal offenses.
King was arrested for counseling to commit mischief, counseling to obstruct police, and counseling to commit disobeying a court order.
Police in Ottawa had previously warned protesters that if they did not stop obstructing streets or aiding others in blocking streets, they would face charges or fines.
On Saturday morning, King appeared in court with his lawyer, James Gilbert. The Crown was represented by Tim Wightman. Will his friend, George, be represented by the same lawyer, or will he need to hire a different one, is yet to be known.
Justice of the peace Karen Baum rescheduled the case for 9:30 a.m. E.T. on Tuesday for a bail hearing.

Pat King’s sidekick George Billings’s video is getting viral after he was arrested and charged with mischief in his Facebook live.
In the video, he is in Ontario where you can his vehicle being stopped by the officers. He was first asked his name and then requested to turn off his filming.
When George enquired about the reason for his arrest, one of the officers replied that he had been arrested for misbehavior. Even at the time of his arrest, he had the support of his friends and followers, as evidenced by the video.

Chris Barber and Tamara Lich, two of the other key convoy organizers, were arrested on Thursday. However, Barber was released on bail on Friday with the ailment that he leave Ottawa within 24 hours of his release.

According to the Wikipedia page, Freedom George is one of the protesters of Freedom Convoy, who is revolting against the vaccine mandates. He is married to his wife and also has a daughter together.
He is active on Facebook, where he can be seen supporting and advocating for individual rights.
