Parfait Ikouba, de son vrai nom Ikouba A Mougnol Félicien Parfait, est né le 5 juin 1984 à Douala, au Cameroun. En 2013, il reçoit le 2 prix au Festival international de la mode africaine (FIMA), dans la catégorie Jeune Créateur.

Biographie

Benjamin d’une fratrie de trois frères, il effectue un cursus en gestion et obtient un diplôme en banque et finance.

Grand passionné d’art, notamment de mode et de décoration, Parfait Ikouba travaille comme assistant en 2008 pour la maison de couture Esterella basée au Cameroun et exerce diverses activités dans le domaine de la décoration d’intérieur et de cérémonies.

En 2011, il abandonne définitivement sa carrière dans le secteur de la banque et décide de se perfectionner dans le domaine de la mode. Il intègre alors l’École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode à Tunis et obtient en 2014 le diplôme de styliste-modéliste, spécialité Haute Couture Femme.

En 2013, à Tunis, il exerce en tant qu’Assistant au sein de la maison de couture de luxe Esthere Maryline Couture. Cette même année, le jeune styliste fait officiellement son entrée dans le milieu de la mode africaine. Il remporte au Niger le 2 prix du concours jeune créateur.

Il collabore également depuis 2014 avec la marque Cousin, basée au Cameroun et faisant dans les vêtements prêt-à-porter et accessoires.
