On November 4, 2014, Pam Zimmerman’s body was found in her own office located at 2103 E. Washington St. in Bloomington, Illinois. She had been shot four times and died from her injuries.
According to her obituary, She was a certified public accountant and a certified financial planner, she owned her own business as Pamela S. Zimmerman, CPA, CFP.
Death: Pam Zimmerman Murder Update
Pam Zimmerman’s death has been last almost 8 years as of now. During the investigation, a medical examiner would later determine that Pam a smart, ambitious woman who was quick to make others feel valuer and loved had been shot to death.
There were two bullet wounds in her chest, in front of her body. There was one bullet in her temple and there was one bullet wound in her back, veteran crime reporter Edith Bady Lunny said.
Police discovered Pam’s Cell phone and wallet were missing, along with an office calender that tracked appointments.
However, the cell phone and wallet were later found intact along the side of the road, leading investigations to believe the items had been taken in an effort to stage the crime scene.
Detectives suspected it had been more likely that Pam had been targeted by someone she knew and focused on three men in her life, the last client she ever saw before her death, her new fiance, and her ex-husband, Krik Zimmerman.
Where Is Her Killer?
It is yet to disclose the exact killer of Pam Zimmerman and the update new is yet to reveal. After her untimely death, Pam Zimmerman was survived by her three children who were teenagers at the time.
She had a son named David and twin daughters named Heidi and Rachel. Her obituary remembered Pam as an example of what we all want to see more of in this world.
Above all else, Pam was a kind, caring and devoted mother who would tell anyone who asked that the greatest treasures in her life were her three children.
Who Had Killed Her?
8 months after Pam Zimmerman’s body was found, JG-TC reports that Pam’s ex-husband Kirk Zimmerman was charged with her murder based on an investigation conducted during the time.
At the end of Zimmerman’s murder trial, the jury found him not guilty, acquitting him of his charges. the trial lasted 5 weeks, and the jury reached their verdict after 7 hours.
Two names that popped up as potential suspects, but were quickly dismissed, were Pam’s last client. Eldon Whitlow, and her fiance Scott Baldwin.
Pam’s friend Julie Koh, who testified at kirk Zimmerman’s trial was the one who ultimately found Pam’s body.
