Palestinian PM urges Israeli leader to prove support for two-state solution

Ramallah, Sep 27 (IANS) Palestinian Head of the state Mohammed Ishtaye has encouraged his Israeli partner Yair Lapid to demonstrate his help for the two-state arrangement by halting settlement building and finishing the bar forced on the Gaza Strip.

“Whoever professes to put stock in the two-state arrangement should stop settlements, lift the attack on Gaza, open Jerusalem and stop the pioneers’ rehashed invasions into Al-Aqsa mosque, which have arrived at their peak today,” Ishtaye said on Monday during the week by week bureau meeting, as per an authority proclamation.

In his location to the UN General Gathering last week, Lapid said a larger part of Israelis, including him, “support the vision of the two-state arrangement” in spite of all deterrents, Xinhua news organization revealed.

Prior on Monday, the Israeli police broke into the sacred site in the Old City of Jerusalem to eliminate Muslim admirers and give a protected ground to Jews marking the Jewish New Year (from September 25 to 27 this year), the authority Palestinian news organization WAFA detailed.

The Palestinian State leader required a worldwide development to safeguard the Palestinian public, consider Israel responsible for its activities and practices, and end the occupation.

The last immediate harmony talks among Israelis and Palestinians, supported by the US, separated in 2014 over their profound contrasts on the issues of boundaries, security and settlement.
