The latter role would earn him an award for best actor at the Thessaloniki Film Festival.
The noughties would continue Considine’s rise as he played lead roles in 2003’s In America and 2004’s My Summer of Love. How Much Is Paddy Considine’s Net Worth?
Acclaimed actor Paddy Considine has an estimated net worth of $4 million as of 2022.
Considine isn’t what one would call a big-budget mainstream actor, nor is he an arthouse auteur, but he inhabits the enviable place in between.
A look at Considine’s filmography will reveal that the actor is comfortable in almost any movie. It’s a gift to find success in such variety and possess the talent to pull it off.
From cult classics like 24 Hour Party People to big-budget movies like The Bourne Ultimatum to offbeat cinema pieces like Submarine, Considine fits perfectly in any of them.
For many people, Considine might be one of those actors they know the face of but haven’t yet learned the name.
This phenomenon may soon change as Considine has landed the biggest role of his career as King Viserys I Targaryen in the much-awaited HBO series House of the Dragon.
It’s anyone’s guess how the show’s success will change Considine’s fame, but any betting person could expect him to soon become a household name, perhaps to his chagrin.
How Much Is Paddy Considine’s Salary And Career Earnings?
Various sources claim that English actor Paddy Considine earns about $50,000 from each movie he plays.
The number may fluctuate depending on the movie’s success, but it’s a respectable salary.
With almost 50 acting credits to his name, Considine lives comfortably. The actor has stated that he lives in his hometown of Burton upon Trent with his wife, Shelley Insley, and their three children.
The actor is notoriously private, and one of the reasons why he doesn’t go for bigger roles is his almost hateful phobia of fame.
Considine has famously stated that if he ever became a celebrity, he would disappear. The script for the House of Dragons must have been very appealing for the usually offbeat actor to play in a big-budget television show.
Though Considine is very private about his personal life, he has gushed about his wife here and there.
According to the actor, the couple has known each other since he was 18 and married in 2002. They have been together since, and Insley seems to share her husband’s disdain for fame.
Only one of his children’s names has been revealed to the public, and he is Jason, their son.
More About Paddy Considine- His Early Life
English actor Paddy Considine was born on September 5, 1973, in Winshill, Burnt upon Trent, Staffordshire.
As mentioned above, he still resides where he was born and seems to have an affinity for his hometown.
The actor grew up with his brother, and four sisters in a village of Burton called Winshill in a council estate. Considine’s father, Martin Joseph Considine, was Irish.
Growing up, Considine attended many schools, some of them are: Abbot Beyne Senior School and Burton College. The boy first met future collaborator Shane Meadows in the latter institution, where he had enrolled in 1990 to do a National Diploma in Performing Arts.
Four years later, Considine moved away to the University of Brighton to study photography.
While at the university, the future actor would study under social documentarian Paul Reas, who famously loved a project Considine had done.
This project consisted of portraits of Considine’s parents in their hometown house. Reportedly Reas called the project brilliant.
Though his education wasn’t completely smooth, as Considine was threatened with expulsion at one point, he still graduated with a B.A. degree.
His friendship with Meadows stood strong throughout all these years, and soon after graduating college, the director cast Considine in several short films. The rest, as they say, is history.
