As per WECT News, after the lighting occurred, civilians on the island flagged down the authorities, and even emergency responders workers attempted to resuscitate Friend for 20 minutes before Will was pronounced dead.
Will was on a boat off Masonboro Island and got struck by lightning.
The Real Deal news first reported her husband’s death has hired Will at the company out of college that helped guide the media company through its 2016 sale to private equity firm The Wicks Group.
