Rémi Droleti is a cross-country skier from Canada. He was named to Canada’s 2022 Olympic team on January 21, 2022, when the country was given an extra berth.
Since his debut at the Junior World Championships in 2017, Remi Drolet has been a part of Canada’s junior development program.
Remi has steadily progressed through the athlete pipeline, demonstrating tremendous potential while representing Canada at the last four Junior World Championship events. He led Canada’s first-ever medal-winning relay team at the premier junior international race.
He competed in the Under-23 World Championships in Vuokatti, Finland, and the Senior World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany, in 2021.
Remi also competed in the World Cup Finals in Quebec City in 2019, which was his first experience of World Cup racing.

He discovered a new enthusiasm for training and racing, as well as a competitive spirit that drove him to set new goals each year.
He’s been progressively improving and is one of Canada’s many promising next-generation skiers. Remi hopes to keep growing and improving so that one day he will be able to compete with the top skiers on the planet.
Meet Remi Drolet Parents
Remi Drolet was born to Edouard Drolet and Nathalie Levasseur.
Remi used to go cross-country skiing with his parents on the crowded hiking trails near his house when he was a kid.
Prior to taking lessons with his peers at school, he had never skied a groomed path or even knew what cross-country skiing was.
He took to the sport right away and decided to join the local Track Attack Racing program on the recommendation of one of his teachers.
Remi enjoys spending time outside. He spent most of his childhood trekking and camping, and he enjoys being in the wilderness’ mountains and woodlands.
Aside from that, he is quite interested in science and technology. Remi is pursuing his Olympic dreams while still pursuing his academic goals at Harvard University, where he is studying physics and mathematics.
His ambition is to be a part of “the tremendous and ever-accelerating technical growth in the world,” as he describes it. Remi is a huge fan of fantasy and science fiction. He is a huge fan of board and tabletop games.
