Thomas Jahanian’s official obituary has been released through Farnam Jahanian’s social media posts.
Thomas passed away on September 25, 2021, after the complications of drowning.
Per People, the main cause of his death is drowning; he had drowned in the Monongahela River. He was proclaimed dead after he was rushed to the UPMC Mercy Hospital.
The police have not come to a conclusion at why Thomas was near the river and how got in the water.
Now that he is gone, the Jahanian family has come with fried so as did the CMU fraternity.

Thomas Jahanian hails from the Iranian family led by Farnam and his wife Tris.
The family now includes four members; Farnam, Tris, Dan, and Sara as Thomas passed away.
Farnam had immigrated to the US in 1977 after passing his high school in Iran. With his sheer talent in the field of computer engineer and science, he settled down in the US and started a family of his own.
His wife Tris is also reported to be an educator just like him. Likewise, both the surviving children; Dan and Sara graduated from CMU with a degree in statistics and data science.
Out of Dan and Sara, only Sara operates an Instagram handle though she has maintained a private profile at the moment.
The family is taking their time to come out of the grief of losing an adult son to an unforeseen accident and handling the mourning in private.
