Joseph Tavarez or José Agustín Tavárez Gil was a correspondent who died this Tuesday at Cibao Medical Center. As for his death cause, it was a heart attack.
Joseph-Franklin (FM) Mars confirmed on Monday that he suffered a heart attack via Whatsapp. The morning of the following day, the death news came.
The native of the city of Cibao, he used to work as a correspondent. With more than four decades of working in the media, the death parted Joseph from his job. He worked in various organizations including, Radio Azul, KV 94, Tv Can, and Musi Can.
Additionally, he had the production credits on Héctor Acosta’s program, Un Bohemio Cibaeño, in 2017. He also had director credits on shows including, the portal “La Revista Digital.net”, “Control Diamante.com”, and the radio space “Los Dueños del Mediodía” in Comando 88.
He had a lot of working history with Frederick Martinez and Nelson Javier el (Crocodile). However, one thing in his career that identified him was his gig as a numerologist at Control Diamante.
Joseph had quite a medical history. As per the reports, he suffered from various illnesses. Although he didn’t have insurance, he once requested a catheterization at the Cruz Jiminian Clinic.
The reports also mention that the journalist almost died three times in the past. A heart disease, which he recently overcame, was the cause for his bad health. But, it seems it became the cause for his demise.
Hopefully, the soul of Tavarez rests in peace, and his family has enough strength to overcome this difficult time.
Currently, the news of his funeral remains unknown as his family hasn’t disclosed anything about it including, the time and place.
