Wolf was a resident of Vestavia Hills, Alabama. He was studying at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. It was his dream to become a pediatric surgeon and work for the people. 

The ambitious soul sadly passed away on Sunday. He served time in the church as he had a passion for serving and helping others. In 2019, Wolf was the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation Honored Hero.

John Wolf From Birmingham Was Found Dead: What Is The Death Cause?

Wolf passed away on December 5, 2021. The cause of his death is yet to be disclosed, however, he might have passed away due to an illness, as he had a medical condition. 

John was born on August 22, 2001, in Birmingham, Alabama, and he died at the age of 20 years.

He always wanted to serve in the military and work for his country, but he was unable to fulfill that dream due to medical illness. 

Wolf’s maternal grandfather, Jerry McManus, recently passed away. His parents, Robert Wolf and Johnnie Kay are devasted by the news of his death. He had two siblings, one sister, Sarah Elizabeth Wolf, and one brother, Luke Alan Wolf. 

The young lad often volunteered at the Jimmie Hale Rescue Mission. He also served Thanksgiving dinner to needy and homeless people every year. Wolf loved going to church, and in his free time, he liked snowboarding, fishing, and playing football.

John’s obituary was posted by Birmingham Obituaries.

The funeral service got scheduled for December 10, 2021, at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Birmingham, from 1-2 p.m. 

A service of Remembrance is also held on the same day. The burial ceremony will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham, Alabama.

Who Is John Wolf?

Wolf came from a religious family and attended Church at Briarwood Presbyterian Church and Brook Hills. Besides studying at the uni, he also worked part-time at Penske. His full name is John Lewis Wolf. 

He graduated high school from Briarwood High School in 2020. Wolf was studying Chemical Engineering with a Premed major at the university. He was good in his studies and maintained a 4.0 GPA. 

John was a three-time state champion tennis player. He was very close to becoming a four-star state champion, but the season got canceled due to COIVD-19. 

Wolf is not related to Pastor Wolfe. He lived in Alabama, whereas the pastor lives in Canton, Georgia.

The pastor has been serving at Birmingham UMC since 1993. He retired in 2008 after pastoring for 40 years and 15 at Birmingham.
