• The Norwegian tourist visa is also known as a visitor visa. It is a visa issued to foreigners visiting Norway for sight-seeing, tourism, and visitation.
• Laotians who intend to visiting Norway for leisure, to visit friends or
  relative and other recreational purposes can apply for this visa.
• A
  fully filled and signed tourist visa application form is required. 
• Two
  recent passport-sized photographs 35mmX45mm in size must be provided.  
• Passport
  or travel documents valid for at least three months after the
  expiration of your visa and blank pages for visa stickers.
• Proof
  of the nationality of the home country you belong to. 
• An
  invitation letter from a host in Norway, the letter must state the
  purpose of your trip to Norway.
• Proof
  of return or onward tickets after the expiry of your stay in the
  Schengen area.
• Travel
  medical insurance valid for the period of your stay in the Schengen
  area.
• Bank
  statements for the last three months to prove that you are
  financially capable to cover expenses that you may incur while in
  the country.
• Proof
  of accommodation or hotel reservations.
• Applicants
  who wish to stay with a friend or relative in Norway must submit a
  letter stating that the family is capable of hosting them. The letter must be notarized by the relevant authorities in the Schengen country.
• If
  the applicant is a minor traveling alone, a written consent of the parents or legal guardian is required. The letter must be signed by both parents.

• The
  Norwegian business visa is issued to foreign citizens who intend to enter Norway for business purposes. 
• You
  need to fill the visa application form accurately and completely
  then sign it before submitting it.
• A
  passport valid for a duration of three months after exiting Norway is required, the passport must have two blank pages for stamps.
• Two
  recently taken passport-sized photographs, taken with a white background and showing your whole face is required.
• proof
  of medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 to cover
  for any medical emergencies for the entire duration of your stay in
  Norway.
• Recent
  bank statements to show that you are financially capable to fund your entire duration of stay in Norway.
• An
  invitation letter from a business partner in Norway. The letter must
  state your full name, passport number, entry and exit dates in
  Norway, the relationship between your company and the Norwegian company and the purpose of your visit to Norway.
• Proof
  of previous business dealing between the two companies. Bills of lading or custom clearance documents can be used as proof.
• Proof
  of the round trip ticket to show that you have the intention to leave
  Norway after the expiry of your visa.
• Proof
  of hotel reservations or accommodation in Norway.
• If
  you are self-employed, a copy of your business license, your
  company’s bank account statements of the last six months, as well as
  an Income Tax return must be submitted.

• The Norwegian student visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to study in Norway. 
• Laotians
  who have been offered admission into a learning institution in
  Norway for a course or an internship can apply for this visa.   
• A
  fully completed and signed Norway student visa application form is required.
• Proof
  of paid student visa application form worth NOK 5300.
• A
  passport valid for a duration of three months after exiting Norway
  is required, the passport must have two blank pages for stamps.
• Two
  recently taken passport-sized photographs with a white background
  and
  35mmX45mm in size.
• Proof
  of admission to an accredited learning institution in Norway. The letter should state your course of study and the duration of study.
• Proof of paid tuition fee.
• Proof
  of accommodation in the Schengen country.
• Evidence
  of sufficient funds for your entire duration of study, Applicants need to prove that they have a sum of NOK 116,369 for each academic year equivalent to 10 months.
• The
  money should be deposited in a Norwegian bank account and the
  applicant needs a Norwegian personal number to open a bank account in
  Norway. This rule is a rule laid down by the Norwegian Directorate of immigration.   
• A
  return ticket to prove that you will leave Norway after the expiry of your visa.
• A
  completed and signed UDI document checklist.
