The Homes Under the Hammer star broke the news to his followers on Twitter through an emotional video that his father Norman had passed away at the age of 90.
He stated he was feeling “very alone and miserable” while fighting back tears.
Roberts, 59, claimed he was sharing his tragedy because he needed to connect with caring individuals.
The TV personality remarked in the clip, “So I don’t know if I should really be posting this video or not, but I think people cope with things in different ways.
Although this is a very personal matter, I feel as though I need to be surrounded by as many caring individuals as possible at this time.
He added, “My dad passed away yesterday.

According to his son, “He had a wonderful life, was 90 years old, and passed away peacefully. It’s wonderful that he passed away at home and that he wasn’t in pain, but it doesn’t—okay, it does—help right now.”
