Toni is also the winner of seven Grammys, nine Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, and many others. Additionally, she is the 2011 Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductee and the Legend Award recipient (2017 Soul Train Music Awards).

Toni Braxton isn’t dead, but her sister, Traci Braxton, is.
She recently expressed her grief and sadness on her sister’s passing through her social media, including Instagram (@tonibraxton), Twitter (@tonibraxton), and Facebook. In her post, she asked people to respect her family’s privacy.
Toni’s 50-year-old sister reportedly died of Esophageal cancer on 11 March 2021. In a recent interview, her brother-in-law, Kevin Surratt, revealed that Traci had been battling it.
And according to Traci’s publicist, Tomasina Perkins-Washington, she spent the previous year in hospice.
After the death news became official, many people close to the deceased paid their tribute online. Her son, Kevin Surratt Jr., was among many others to express their grief. In an Instagram post on 12 March, he wrote about loving and missing her.
The Braxtons are yet to announce Traci’s funeral, including the date and venue.
Since there isn’t any evidence supporting Toni’s death, the rumors are nothing but hoaxes. She is still alive and doing well. Nevertheless, she suffers from Pericarditis, a serious heart condition, and Lupus, an autoimmune disease.
Likewise, Toni has had a few hospitalizations in the past, once on 8 April 2008 for chest pains and another on 7 December 2012 due to Lupus and blood clots.

Despite making occasional visits to her social media, she doesn’t like to reveal much about her private life.
Although we may not know where she currently lives, we know her children, Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis, were in Milan, Italy, in February for Fashion Week. They also recently featured on Diesel’s Spring Summer 2022 campaign.
