Description
Nimepata Sacco was registered under the co-operative society act on 16th of March 1982. Since then it has grown steadily to become one of the best savings and credit co-peratives in Kenya. It has stabilized in Financial Management, Community Development and above all, a Christian Social and Economical Empowerment.
Nimepata Sacco has an experience of over 36 years in handling members finances. From this experience it has learnt to deal with many issues regarding needs of a wide cultural domain. It therefore utilizes this experience as well as modern tools of technology to assist members from a wide geographical area. Those that are within Kenya and those that are abroad.
The Sacco offers no favours and biases. Any member who is eligible for loans and is capable of repaying the same loan is awarded. Nimepata Sacco is also cultured with a Christian based environment and its through God’s grace that it has seen its way to the greenlight. Members Enjoy rebates of up to Millions according to there shares in the Sacco.
It also generates revenue from members loans at a rate of only 1% on reducing balance to the sum of members loans borrowed. In addition to interests from loans, it invests in the Kenya Unions of Savings and Credit Co-operatives Limited (KUSCCO Limited) that helps generate a reasonable rebate for members annually. Nimepata Sacco like other Sacco’s invests in the co-operative bank of Kenya which also earns interests to members savings in the Sacco.
The Sacco has gone to an extra mile of launching a sister organization (Nimepata Housing) which deals with investments on properties like land amongst others. The Sacco is expected to trade alongside the Nimepata Housing where most of its finances will have favourable returns from this internal undertakings as investments.
