Besides her candidacy, Nikki is also excited about the recent development in her family. Her daughter is engaged and has plans to get married in less than two months.
The politician, who is married to a military man, is a loving mother of two. She has a daughter named Rena and a son called Nalin.

With less than two months for the upcoming wedding, the engaged couple is more than excited. Rena has been flooding her Instagram in excitement with hashtags like #lightscamerajackson2023 and #journeytojackson2023.
Rena and her fiance have not yet revealed a venue for their ceremony. However, considering her parents got married in a methodist church, chances are the duo will also exchange their vows in a similar location.
The couple has also set up a Zola page for her guests to choose their gifts to the soon-to-be newlyweds. Items like cereal bowls, dinner plates, velvet clothes hangers, bath towels, floor lamps, etc. are on the pair’s wish list.
Further, Rena and Joshua have started a furniture fund and a honeymoon fund for their guests to donate. Each of the funds has a target of $2000.

Rena and Joshua first met at Clemson University in South Carolina. At the time, Rena was majoring in Nursing, whereas Joshua was a football player.
Both graduated from the university in 2021. The couple began dating in 2018; however, Haley introduced Jackson as her boyfriend a year later.
After the Clemson Tigers won the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2019, she shared a photo on Instagram with Joshua and expressed her love & pride.
Over the years, the couple has been open about their relationship and regularly shares updates on their personal lives.
Rena and Joshua got engaged on July 25, 2022, when the former footballer proposed to her at the South Carolina botanical garden. Rana’s mother, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, expressed her happiness at the news of her daughter’s engagement via a Tweet. Nikki claimed to have found a new son after her child got engaged to the hunk.

After getting engagement, the two families had dinner at The Lazy Goat restaurant in Greenville, South Carolina. Members of both the Haley and Jackson families enjoyed a lovely evening together and got to know each other.

Who Is Joshua Jackson?
Joshua Jackson is a former college football player from Clemson University. He is now a maths teacher and a football coach.
Born on November 11, 1997, Jackson is currently 25 years old. He is only a year older than his partner Rena, who was born on June 8, 2022.
Joshua played 15 games for the Clemson Tigers from 2017 to 2020. He was a part of the 2019 NCAA Football National Championship-winning team and performed in six games in the season.
Likewise, he has been an ACC Honor Roll Selection four times. The 25-year-old has received accolades like the 2020 P.A.W. Journey Professional of the Year. He was also one of the 15 recipients of 2020 Go Teach Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway Scholarship worth $2,500.
As per his LinkedIn, Joshua is a Clemson University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. He also minored in Spanish for his bachelor’s education.
Similarly, Jackson received his Master’s degree, also in Elementary Education and Teaching, in May 2022.
Rena’s fiance started working as a Summer Encounters Coordinator at the CCES Summer Encounters Program in May 2021. In May 2022, he was hired by Christ Church Episcopal School to serve as its middle school Maths teacher and football coach. He teaches maths to 5th-grade students and trains cornerbacks.
On the other hand, his fiancee Rena is a pediatric nurse who works at Prisma Health. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing with a Psychology minor from Clemson University in 2021.
Haley also worked as a nursing intern for a month in Costa Rica back in July 2019.

Her mother Nikki is an American politician who served as the South Carolina Governor from 2011 to 2017. She was also the US Ambassador to the UN during the Trump administration. Haley served in the position from January 2017 to December 2018.
Rena’s father Michael is a South Carolina Army National Guard commissioned officer. He also became the first man to hold the title of South Carolina First Gentlemen after his wife won the Governor election in 2011.
As a military officer, Michael was deployed to Afghanistan for a year in 2012. During his tenure in Afghanistan, he helped local farmers with modern farming techniques. Mike was tasked with reducing or eradicating opium farms by introducing farmers to cash crops.
