Nicholas Jerry Jonas, a.k.a. On September 16, 1992, Nick Jonas was born. In 2002, when a holiday melody he had co-written with his father found its way into a Broadway charity record, Nick made his songwriting debut. Two years later, a deal with Columbia Records followed. He became popular as a part of the Jonas Brothers Disney pop/rock act. With his equally popular brothers, Kevin Jonas, and Joe Jonas, the band was created. He discussed with Joe the position of the frontman.
The Jonas Brothers’ path to prosperity was not a pleasant one. A commercial flop was their 2006 debut album, “It’s About Time” and one year later, Columbia Records dropped the party. In 2007, they first signed with Hollywood Records, and they started gaining new audiences as new Disney idols, most of which were female teens. They performed on television shows on the network, created their own series, featured in Disney starlet Demi Lovato’s made-for-TV movie, and sold nearly two million copies of their self-titled sophomore album. One year later, they repeated the feat with “A Little Bit Longer, and returned with Lines, Vines and Trying Times in 2009. All of the albums featured heavy contributions from Nick, who not only led the songwriting process, but also played a wide range of instruments, from drums to guitar to keyboard.”
“Nick took a break from the band and continued collaborating on a side project with some other artists. He recruited Michael Bland and Tommy Barbarella for a new group named Nick Jonas & the Administration. The group made its debut with the song “Who I Am” in early 2010. Nick made an appearance on “Hawaii Five-0” while working on music and co-hosted Miss USA 2013.

Nick is currently focusing on his solo career. He helped establish the “Neon Lights” tour with Lovato and produced songs for his solo album as well. The self-titled record is set to be released on November 11 and “Chains”, “Jealous” and “Teacher” singles have so far spawned.
Nick spent much of 2015 working on several TV programs, including FOX’s “Scream Queens” on which he guest starred as Boone Clemen, in between performing live shows to promote the record, which debuted at No. 6 on Billboard 200.
