David Krejci siblings include just one elder brother named Zdenek Krejci.
Zdenek is a former ice hockey player like his younger brother; he played as a goalie. He was born in Sternberk, Czech Republic, on April 15, 1985, and is currently 37 years old. Zdenek is a year and 13 days older than David.
Zdenek started playing for the U-18 team of HC Olomouc in 1999. He played 37 games in his debut season. In 2000, he was transferred mid-season to the under-18 team of HC Prostejov.
The next year, he was transferred again, this time to HC Ocelari Trinec U18. Zdenek also played U-20 ice hockey for four seasons before getting drafted to the Czechia3 League by HC Zubr Prerov.
Krejci played three seasons for the team during which he performed in 49 games. He retired from professional ice hockey after the 2008-09 season.
Talking about his honors, Zdenek won the Czechia U18 Champion Award in the 2001-02 season.
