Another Netflix documentary, ‘The Most Hated Man On The Internet,’ exposes the dark aspects of internet behavior after The Tinder Swindler and the web quest for Don’t Fuck with Cats.
Hunter Moore was named “The Most Hated Man on The Internet” by Rolling Stone in 2012.
The book describes Moore’s eventual downfall and the creation of his vengeance porn website IsAnyoneUp.com.
Charlotte Laws, the mother of one of the victims who researched Moore for more than two years to bring him to prison, and the victims he used and exposed, are all interviewed in the three-part documentary.
#NBHNC Meaning, What Does It Mean?
The term NBHNC stands for “no b**thole, no care.”
The term first appeared in Urban Dictionary on April 8, 2011. It seems to have taken several different forms, indicating that it was a crucial point in the phrase’s development.
Many people point out that Hunter Moore popularized the NBHNC hashtag, which gained popularity on Tumblr, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
Early in the 2010s, Hunter Moore had a strong hold on a small portion of the Internet. His followers even got the hashtag #NBHNC tattooed on their bodies.
Ads for pornographic content were one of the ways that Moore monetized his controversial website. Another was by offering goods for sale, such as T-shirts with the hashtag “#NBHNC.”
Is Anyone Up Website Belongs to Hunter Moore?
IsAnyoneUp.com was shut down in April 2012 when Hunter Moore sold the domain name to a web businessman named James McGibney, according to The Cinemaholic.
McGibney bought the domain for a little charge and used it to drive visitors to BullyVille, an anti-bullying website.
The website got hosted by McGibney and encouraged visitors to share their experiences with bullying to raise awareness of the problem that IsAnyoneUp had facilitated.
But anyone who visits the site right now will only be taken to McGibney’s webpage.
According to Cosmopolitan, Hunter Moore was held by the FBI in 2014 on suspicion of plotting, getting unauthorized access to a locked computer, and aggravating identity theft.
Where Is Hunter Moore Now?
There is very little information available on Hunter Moore’s whereabouts.
He was out of jail in May 2017. He consented to a three-year, closely monitored probationary term in 2021.
In 2012, Moore got reportedly barred from using Facebook, according to Rolling Stone. He does seem to be active on Twitter, though.
He sent a screenshot of The Most Hated Man on the Internet’s Netflix title page to his 4,000 followers on June 30. On July 15, he also shared the documentary’s teaser with the remark “LOL.”
He was subsequently given a two-year, six-month jail term, a $2,000 fine, and a $145.70 restitution cost.
