NBA Star Dennis Schroder Was Born To A German Dad And A Gambian Mom

Dennis Schröder, 28, is a German professional basketball player who played for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The German professional has previously played for SG Braunschweig and Phantoms Braunschweig in Germany before playing his initial five seasons in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks and two years with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Since 2018, he has been the team’s major shareholder and the only owner of his German hometown team, Braunschweig of the Easycredit BBL.

After moving to Germany from the United States, Schröder embraced his “signature” patch of bleached blonde hair, quickly becoming well-known. Moreover, he is a Muslim.

Who Is Dennis Schroder Brother Cheyassin Seckar?

Dennis Schroder is among the most prominent players in the NBA, aged 28. His brother Cheyassin Secka is very close to the professional baseball player.

He has two half-siblings from his mother. His mother was allegedly in a romantic relationship with someone other than Alex.

The brothers were the skating duo and spent most of their childhood together. They frequently visited skating parks and other places as kids.

Dennis wanted to do what his brother Che did, who took eight years to be a skater. Che established a name for himself in the skateboarding world and even secured a local sports store as a sponsor.

He shattered his arm, so his mother asked them to take a different course of action. Schroder still keeps a skateboard in the car as proof that he hasn’t lost interest in one of his hobbies.

Secka has also been known for working as the manager of the German professional player. They are still seen together at gatherings and press conferences.

Dennis also has a sister whose name seems to be Awa. She has kept her life a secret and does not want any attention despite her brother being a famous athlete.

The family and siblings have got more together after the untimely passing away of their loving father, Alex Schroder.

His brother always inspired him. The 28-year-old player said, “Every day, my brother would tell me, You’re something wonderful. There aren’t many people in Germany who believe the same way as you.” “They never declare, ‘I’m going to beat this guy.”

“Nobody was accustomed to that. They claimed I was conceited. I said, “I’m not conceited.” Anyone who has known me from the beginning understands that I haven’t changed at all.” He added.”

Ten days before his passing, Dennis had visited his father and discussed his basketball career. As a result, Dennis committed his father to play in the NBA one day.
