Henstridge was born on August 15, 1974, in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, to Helen Henstridge, a homemaker, and Brian Henstridge, a construction manager and business owner. Shane, her younger brother, raised her in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
In 2004, she began dating Scottish singer Darius Campbell. They got engaged but broke it off in early 2010,before marrying on Valentine’s Day 2011. In July 2013, they filed for divorce. In February 2018, the divorce was finalized.
Campbell died on 11 August 2022 after he was found unresponsive in his apartment per reports from his family.
