Keeping age at bay! Former Baywatch babes Kelly Packard, Donna D’Errico, Nancy Valen and Erika Eleniak reunite at LA marathon event… almost 30 years on from the original beach series
They patrolled the beaches of Los Angeles County as coast guards in one of the most watched television shows of the Eighties.
And the stars of Baywatch, who wriggled out of those iconic red swimsuits 20 years ago, reunited for the first ever Baywatch SloMo Marathon in LA on Saturday.
Kelly Packard, 42, Donna D’Errico, 49, Nancy Valen, 51, and Erika Eleniak, 47 showed the new crop of Baywatch stars that they’ve still got it, ahead of the release of the revamped movie next month.
Along with fellow alum Jason Simmons, 47, and Angelica Bridge, 46, the original Baywatch babes joined film stars such as Kelly Rohrbach, 27, and Zac Efron, 29.
Packard, who played April Giminski on the hit show’s series eight and nine, looked youthful in a pretty navy smock dress which was embroidered with pink and red flowers.
The actress and mother-of-four, 42, looked startlingly similar to her Baywatch days despite the passage of almost twenty years.
She rocked a beachy hairstyle as her blonde locks cascaded down her back in ruffled waves.
Kelly teamed her casual frock with a pair of wedge sandals which revealed her scarlet pedicure, perhaps a nod to the famous swimsuit she wore on Baywatch.
D’Errico, 49, looked astonishingly youthful as she stepped out in a figure-hugging chocolate brown strap dress which she paired with a white cardigan.
She finished her ensemble with nude heeled courts.
Donna, who played lifeguard Donna Marco on the show in season seven and eight, still embraces the California golden girl look with her glowing tan and platinum blonde locks teased into a shoulder-length style.
The beauty, who appeared in the show for two seasons and was also a Playboy centrefold star, is now a Roman Catholic.
She told Fox News: ‘I’ve made mistakes and choices in my past that I wouldn’t make today. That’s a chapter in my life that I’ve closed the door on.
‘It seems to me like another person. It’s not who I am today.’
Eleniak, 47, beamed as she caught up with her Baywatch co-stars at the marathon event.
The beauty played Shauni McClain in the show’s first three series, one of the most brilliant lifeguards who memorably cared for an injured sea lion named Gilly.
The passing years have clearly been kind to Erica who looked just as stunning as in her heyday with her blonde locks styled in a boyish crop.
She donned an embroidered kaftan-style smock with a matching cardigan, leggings and wedged flip-flops.
Angelica Bridges, 45, stunned in a tiny white ruffled mini skirt and seemed to have barely aged a day since her 1997 stint in the popular series.
The redhead showed off her toned legs in the tiny skirt which she paired with a silk pink and white striped dress.
The star, who played Taylor Walsh in season eight, also appeared in TV show Veronica Mars and is the lead singer of pop group Strawberry Blonde.
Valen, 51, donned a plunging pale blue frock with sexy cut-out shoulders which showed off her incredibly svelte frame.
The actress, who appeared in the hit television show as Captain Samantha Thomas in season seven, teased her raven locks into a smooth style and wore minimal make up, adding just a touch of lip gloss to her natural look.
Appearing in the world’s number one watched TV series wasn’t enough for Nancy who went on to make guest appearances in numerous beloved shows including Friends, Miami Vice, Murder She Wrote and Spin City.
Baywatch ran from 1989 to 1999 and became one of the most watched TV shows in the world, with a weekly audience of 1.1 billion in 148 countries.
The show was translated into 44 different languages.
Its cast of sun-kissed, incredibly attractive stars also originally included David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
The television series has been made into a movie starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac and Kelly, released next month.
David and Pamela will make cameo appearances in the film.
