Namhla Mtwa is a 35-year-old woman from Tambo municipal employee, she was killed on 21st April while she was inside the car. She was shot nine times while she was arriving from Sidwadwa home in Mathatha.
Moreover, Namhla was dead on the scene, the shooter is in the wind, and investigations from the authorities have been going on. Also, allegations are mounting against her boyfriend, who seems to have abused Namhla for years.

Namhla Mtwa was severely abused for years by her boyfriend, who has been a person of interest in the case but he seems to have denied all the allegations.
Similarly, horrific images of abuse and screenshots of messages have been viral, Mtwa seems to have pleaded with her partner to rest her body due to the injury that her partner allegedly caused.
She had explained in the string of messages that she was unable to drive due to her injuries. Mtwa’s text conversations show her apologizing for her inability to meet his expectations.
Furthermore, Mtwa’s sister Sanga released screenshots and photos to the Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane, who is a provincial police commissioner a Lieutenant General Nomthetheleli Mene.
Besides, the police had launched a manhunt for the killer. It was also stated by a Twitter follower, that Mtwa was a state witness who was responsible to testify against a government official about his corruption which also piqued the interest of the people in the case.

Mtwa’s boyfriend is Mfesane Bhekizulu 41, who is a businessman and controversial figure in the country. He has been the suspect in the murder of his girlfriend.
Similarly, he was responsible for abuse and violence against her girlfriend. People are demanding justice for Namhla and strict punishment for the culprit and her abuser.
Additionally, Bhekizulu seems to have a history of violence as he was also arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his employee Mxolisi Mthunjwa and injuring another Thmebela Somana on 11th August 2018.
Nevertheless, he had stated that he is innocent and people are letting the real suspect escape by focusing the case on him. People have been speculating that he hired the hitman to kill his girlfriend.
Namhla does not seem to be active on Instagram, but a wave of her videos, posts, and screenshot are available of her abuse on social media.
