Her wealth has helped her live a luxurious lifestyle, as she travels to various expensive destinations around the world.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Ekaterina grew up in Siberia, and at a young age showed a strong passion for traveling. She wanted to see the world, but at the same time a lot of people were complimenting her for her beauty, so she aspired to become a model as well, and began looking for opportunities to enter that career.
One of the first avenues she tried out was Instagram, one of the most popular social media platforms in the world.
It is a photo and video sharing site, responsible for the rise of many online personalities, particularly Instagram models who’ve gained a career as companies flocked to their high follower counts. One of the things that made her stand out during the beginning was her love for yoga. Yoga is a lifestyle, though in more recent years, has been better known for stretches that help with posture and flexibility. She began posting photos of her hanging out on beaches and other waterfront destinations, often posing wearing a bikini and doing a yoga pose that showed her poise as well as her flexibility.
Modeling Breakthrough
Zueva’s follower count was increasing steadily, and people were starting to name her the Instagram queen of yoga, due to her attractive looks and skill at the physical aspect of the craft. In 2015, she entered the Miss Maxim contest, a competition held by the international men’s magazine “Miss Maxim” which is known to feature photos of actresses, models, and singers. In the competition, aspiring models from around the world compete to gain a highly coveted feature in the magazine. Winners are often chosen by viewers, and contestants from any part of the world could join.
Rules differ for each iteration of the magazine, with some holding online contests, while others hold beauty pageants to determine their winners. In her case, she became a finalist in the competition, which increased her exposure significantly, and soon other companies were contacting her with modeling work. She gained a strong appeal, especially to men’s magazines, as she showcased a natural talent in steamy or sexy photos, wearing bikinis, lingerie, and in some cases nothing at all.
Continued Modeling Work
It was not long until magazines were coming after her, and she started posing for publications such as “Treats Magazine” and “FHM”. She also did work for “Playboy” magazine, one of the most popular brands in the world.
Established by the late Hugh Hefner, “Playboy” is known for popularizing nude and semi-nude models referred to as Playmates. Many consider being featured in “Playboy” as the pinnacle of being identified as a man’s desire. Her work led her to various parts of the world, so she was also finally fulfilling her dream of traveling.
She was also cast in a support role in the film “The Man from UNCLE”, the spy film starring Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander, and an adaptation based on the British series of the same name. It is directed by Guy Ritchie, and received good reviews while earning a gross of $25 million at the box office. She was approached by the director for the film after she was discovered on her Instagram account.
She then began taking offers from various companies to do sponsored posts, which led her to visit various luxury beaches and resorts around the world, given free air travel, a place to stay, and promoting these places by posting sensual photos while just hanging out.
Blogging and Online Work
Like the career of many models, their popularity often goes up and down. Wanting to take advantage of her momentum, Ekaterina partnered with the drink company Bang Energy, known for selling various energy drinks under the Bang and Redline Energy drink brand. It is known to be a brand that often partners with Instagram models, setting up contracts to shoot videos that feature the energy drink. In her advertisements, she is often seen hanging out or spending time in luxury spots, with an energy drink in hand.
She also used her expanding connections to set up a blog, posting about her adventures. She’s traveled to China, Indonesia and Greece, visiting luxury spots in Beijing, Bali and Mykonos, and many more. Apart from her travel posts, she also posts about beauty, including the products she uses, and her routines. She refers to modeling as a hobby, and while she does spend a lot of time at the gym, she does her best to practice yoga regularly. She’s not afraid to wear more revealing clothing, and even take shots where she is in the nude. Most of her photos respect the policy of Instagram, though some tread that line very closely.
Personal Life
Ekaterina is single, and she doesn’t talk about her romantic life that often. She has a child, admitting that she became a mother sometime in 2018, but makes no mention of the child’s father, indicating that the man may no longer be present in her life. During her free time, she also loves stretching and playing tennis. She’s traveled to over 30 countries and plans to visit more as time goes on.
She is also a graduate of International Journalism, taking up a degree at MGIMO University. She speaks Russian and English with most of her online posts catering to both languages. She also designs clothes and owns a fashion brand called ZUZU.
