Who is Ruby May?
Ruby May was born on 3 May 1996, in England, and is a social media personality, best known for rising to fame on the platform Instagram on which she has around a million followers. She has been active on the site since 2017, and has since expanded her reach to other popular online platforms as well.
The Net Worth of Ruby May
As of early-2020, Ruby May’s net worth is estimated to be over $1 million, earned through a successful career online. She earns regularly weekly and monthly donations through the use of websites such as Only Fans. She also has income through advertising revenue on websites such as YouTube, including several sponsorships.
Early Life and Online Beginnings
Ruby grew up in England, and while she spent a lot of her youth there, her family later moved to Australia where they settled. At a young age, she discovered various online platforms, and aspired to become a popular internet icon. This eventually led her to create an account on Instagram, which is a popular website among many influencers and aspiring models.
She quickly gained a significant following on the website, as she began posting sensual photos – she loved showcasing her body, particularly her breasts, often wearing revealing clothing or that which would accentuate her figure.
With this career direction, she began putting a lot of attention onto her body, frequently working-out to maintain her figure. She also posted a lot of photos wearing sleepwear, or clothes with no underwear underneath. Most of her followers were men who admired her looks, and soon she was looking for other avenues to earn wealth.
Sponsorships and Donations
With her large following, May was eventually contacted by several companies to do sponsored posts for them. This practice is very popular among Instagram models with a significant number of followers – one of the most popular companies that employ this form of advertisement is Fashion Nova, a retail company based in Los Angeles.
The company is known for promoting clubwear that is often marketed as inexpensive. They continue to employ online advertising, paying huge sums to models despite issues going around that they are underpaying some of their workers.
Aside from sponsored posts, Ruby also earns a lot of money through an Only Fans account, earning thousands of dollars from paying subscribers each week. Unlike other Instagram models, she is not afraid to pose naked for photos and videos of herself. She enjoys doing posts, and does so regularly which has certainly helped grow her following on the site.
The downside of this type of content is that while OnlyFans is set to be exclusive, photos and videos are often leaked to other media. This, in turn, has led to some of her sex videos releasing online, though she doesn’t seem to be bothered a lot by it.
Alternate Accounts
A common practice among Instagram models, especially those who love posting sensual photos, to have a secondary account to fall back on. This is because the policy of Instagram can be strict, and is ever-changing. Photos can be instantly removed from one’s profile, and in worst cases, an account may be banned without notice, which has led to the downfall of many aspiring models’ careers on the website.

She complements her main account through her second account ,which mainly shows a quirkier side to her, photos that she doesn’t typically post on her main account. She also posts comedy photos and videos on that account.
Because she gets a lot of unusual and inappropriate comments from men, Ruby decided to create an alternate account that shares some of the messages she receives in private. The posts that she shared on this account range from sweet, to inappropriate, to stupid, and downright hateful. The account has shed some light on what many female influencers go through daily.
Due to her exposure to a lot of bad behavior from men, she has gained even stronger support from her followers, particularly women of course.
An Expanding Reach
In recent months, with many areas of the world under quarantine or lockdown due to the spread of the coronavirus, the careers of online content creators have boomed, with many more people tuning in to live streams and YouTube videos. Ruby’s activity has been hampered, as she can’t go out normally like she used to. This led her to think about other avenues for her to earn money, and she created a YouTube account in early-2020.
The YouTube account functions more like a video blog (vlog) account, showcasing some of her day to day endeavors. She features some new clothes, cooking and staying at home. She has also done a question and answer segment.
Aside from YouTube, she also launched a TikTok account, on which she shares memes and comedy videos. The app has also undergone a surge of increased activity, due to a lot of people stuck at home with nothing much else to do. The app allows users to provide short videos or looping videos, varying from dances, comedic videos, borderline sexual videos, and videos of a certain niche.
Some of the more popular ones often feature dancing or pets.
Personal Life
Ruby is single and she doesn’t talk a lot about any of her romantic relationships. She has been seen with sex partners in the past, though it’s not known if she is officially in a relationship. She admits that while she posts a lot of naked photos, she doesn’t want to engage in the porn industry. She is a vegan and is very careful with food and clothing choices, making sure it respects animals. She owns two pet dogs who have been featured often on her social media accounts.
