Naked Truth Of Diane Farr – Husband, Family, Net Worth, Body

Introduction

There are people who are talented in more than one field, and who have earned prominent success in all of those fields thanks to their hard work and persistence; this is the case of Diane Farr. How did she become so successful? And why did everyone judge her marriage at first?

Early life and Education

Diane Farr was born on 7 September 1969, in Manhattan, New York City USA,into a family of Italian and Irish descent. Her mother is Patricia Farr, and her father Thomas E. Farr – there is no information about any siblings. She grew up in New York where she went to high school – when she was 12, she briefly did modeling and appeared in several high school pageants.

After matriculation, she studied drama at Stony Brook University in New York, but she also took parallel courses at Loughborough University in England, and in the end she earned herself a joint Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of theatre from both universities. When she was 19 and in her freshmen year of college, she earned the title of Miss New York, and at that moment she was the youngest woman ever to win that title.

Acting Career

Farr shot to fame when she was worked as a co-host on the MTV relationship advice program “Loveline”, appearing in over 200 episodes.

During this time she made guest appearance in shows such as “Arli$$”, “The Drew Carey Show” and “CSI”, and had a recurring role in “Rosewell”, playing Amy DeLuca, mother of Majandra Delfino’s character Maria DeLuca. She was also a regular on WB’s show “Like Family”, as Maddie Hudson.

Later on, she appeared in the ABC sitcom “The Job”, created by Denis Leary who also starred in it. She played the character of Detective Jan Fendrich, and remained in the show until it ended in 2002. After that, she made a two-season appearance in another Denis Leary show, “Rescue Me”, playing a firefighter from New York City Fire Department, Laura Miles. However, she soon left to star in another show, CBS crime series “Numb3rs” as Megan Reeves, a skilled FBI agent.

This role came as a replacement for a character that was kicked from the show before the first season ended, Terry Lake. She kept the role from 2005 until 2008, when she declined to renew her contract after the fourth season ended, instead joining the cast of “Californication” in 2009, and remaining in the series for 10 whole episodes.

Farr was also a guest in hit series “Desperate Housewives” in April 2010, and could be seen in a flashback, playing a bad mother whose son became a serial killer, and killed her in the end as well. Farr also appeared in a number of other TV series, such as “White Collar” in which she played Gina De Stefano, “Grey’s Anatomy”, and in “Private Practice” playing the character of Miranda who was also a love interest of Brian Benben’s character, Dr. Sheldon Wallace.

She was also in Adam Carolla’s comedy movie “Road Hard” as Sarah, the main character’s love interest. Diane also writes and directs for “Ass Castles”, a comedy series that airs on FunnyorDie.com

She produced the HBO documentary “Children of God: Lost and Found” in 2007, which shows the lives of several children who have escaped the Children of God cult (which is also known under the name Love and The Family), and their return into mainstream society.

Career as an Author

Apart from writing for her own comedy show, Farr is also an author of two books. She published the first entitled “The Girl Code: The Secret Language of Single Women” in 2001, in which she discusses the secret language that allegedly all single women share.

In her second book, “Kissing Outside the Lines”, published in May 2011, she talks in a comedic way about the difficulties and challenges that someone faces when in an interracial marriage. At the same time, she is a journalist, writing for several American magazines, including “Glamour”, “Cosmopolitan” and “Esquire”, and she also writes a column for the prestigious “International Herald Tribune”.

Personal Life

Farr became engaged to Seung Yong Chung, an entertainment marketing executive from South Korea, on 29th October 2005. The couple tied the knot on 26th June 2006, and welcomed their first child, Beckett Mancuso Chung, in March of 2007, then in August 2008 their twin daughters, Sawyer Lucia Chung and Coco Trinity Chung.

Farr and Chung’s marriage was faced with many prejudices, especially from both sets of parents, but they ignored the bad-mouthing, and have proved that interracial marriages aren’t doomed to fail. She was raised as a Catholic, but she claims to be an atheist.

Diane has proven to be a woman of many talents. Apart from her career in acting and her publishing two books, she also works as a yoga instructor and a general contractor. One of her favorite activities is snowboarding. For a brief time, she was a drama teacher in a maximum security prison that was for men only. She was also a manager of an eatery in Los Angeles, California, that was owned by actress Christina Applegate. Farr was engaged before, and when her then fiancé left her just a day before their wedding, she and her friend Laura Bailey started a company that specialized in producing greeting cards, called “Other Announcements”.

These cards aren’t signed with what is considered to be “normal” statements or invitations, but rather serve as announcements when the wedding is canceled or the party isn’t to be held, as well as all other similar not-so-happy occasions.

One time, when asked about her career paths, she said: ‘I did a Broadway show and no one cared; I got a job talking about sex on TV and everyone wanted a meeting.’ Farr is the Ambassador of the Mineseeker Foundation, and she is especially vocal about their “Sole of Africa” campaign, which is dedicated to locating and removing landmines that still exist all over the African continent. One of the foundation patrons was the late Nelson Mandela, and other influential patrons are Sir Richard Branson, Queen Noor of Jordan and Brad Pitt. Farr is currently residing with her family in La Canada Flintridge, California. She is very active on all of her social media accounts.

Net Worth

Diane Farr has many different professions and all of them bring her a significant amount of wealth. This helped her earn the title of one of the Top Earning Actresses, according to Forbes. As of early 2020, her net worth is estimated at around $40 million, and her monthly earnings reputedly higher than $100,000.

Physical characteristics

Farr is considered to be a gorgeous, sexy woman. She is 5ft 6ins (1.68 meters) tall, but information about her weight and vital measurements isn’t disclosed, but it’s easy to see that she is rather slim and that she takes good care of her body. Her hair is light brown and her eyes are bright bluish-green.
