Naira Ali Biography

Naira Ali is an Ugandan female music artist, songwriter, vocalist and also a Fine artist who has become one of the well known female Ugandan music artists.

Naira Ali Early Life

Ali was born Nabattu Naira to Mr. Ssesanga Ali and Mrs. Ssesanga Hawa. They say charity is commenced at home, Ali’s family musical background can clearly show where her talent was born, her father was a music DJ with club in masindi district “Chicago boys” back in the days. And her mother, a choir leader in her church and school too.

After completing her high school studies, Ali joined Makerere University where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Fine Art at the Margret trowel school of industrial and fine arts at Makerere University.

During her primary school days, she joined the school choir at a tender age and even was able to write a song for the school with the help of her teacher and the song was called Tetulaga.

In her teenage years, she had so many dreams and this allowed her to venture into very many things like painting, writing, music, modelling, fashion designing and very many other things that a teenager can actually dream of becoming.

After her primary school education, she joined East High School where she studied for her ordinary level of education and during that time she joined the school entertainment club called “Da bliss Club from 2001-2004 where she wrote and performed, acted drama for the school.

After completing her ordinary level of education, she joined Kibibi secondary school for her Advanced level of education.

During her time at the school, she was elected as an entertainment prefect in 2005 and she became the first entertainment prefect that the school had ever had. In 2006,, she won the best actress tittle at the school for participating in drama.

During her vacation, she started doing vocal training with the help of a manager and was able to record her first song.
