According to the Raleigh (N.C.) News & Observer, Duke basketball star freshman big Paolo Banchero, and junior guard Michael Savarino, the grandson of Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski, are facing charges after a DWI arrest over the weekend.
According to court documents, Savarin was charged with DWI, while Banchero was charged with aiding and abetting DWI.
The condition of both players for Tuesday night’s home game versus Gardner-Webb has not been announced by the institution. However, according to the newspaper, Savarino, 20, has a court hearing set for December 9, and Banchero, 19, has a court appearance set for December 8.
