Most points scored in the first half of an NFL game include 42 points by the Ravens while playing against Miami Dolphins in the 2019 season.
This set the record for the highest halftime score in Week 1 in the history of the National Football League. There are four quarters in the NFL. Half-time is allocated after the completion of the second quarter.
This lasts for 12 minutes while on Super Bowl this can last longer than usual as every Super Bowl game will feature a halftime show during the leisure period. Generally, the show sees high-profile singers and artists across the US and other parts of the world.
The number on the scoreboard at the end of the second quarter matters very much in the League. Unless the other team makes a miraculous comeback after the break, the numbers before that are the determining factor for the direction of the match.
Although a team’s victory does not solely depend upon that, it indeed plays an important role in giving the franchise a leading motivation to win the game. Besides, it is equally important to demotivate the opponents.
If your scoreboard is much ahead of your opponent’s team then there is a high probability that your squad might march towards victory.
