Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Montenegrin Visa.
- Original Malawian passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the intended period of stay in Montenegro.

Requirements
- A tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Montenegro for the purpose of leisure and tourism such as sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
- Applicants who have been invited to Montenegro by their friend or relative with permanent residence can apply for the tourist visa.
- An applicant under the age of 18 years must provide the original copy of the birth certificate and a notarized consent signed by both the parents should be provided.
- Applicants are not allowed to take up employment while they are in Malawi.
- Receipt of the non-refundable visa application fee is required.
- Applicants that are not citizens of Malawi applying for the visa should provide a copy of their Malawi residence permit. This permit should be valid for at least three months from the intended period of exiting the country.
- A letter of invitation from the host in Montenegro should be provided. The letter should contain the valid home address and telephone number of the host.
- The host in Montenegro could either be a family member, friend or tour organization in Montenegro.
- Applicants are to provide a certificate of medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.
- Air ticket reservations, including return flight, should be submitted by the applicant.
- Foreigners should have proof of the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visas.
- Proof of hotel reservation and accommodation that covers the applicant’s duration of stay.

- The letter of invitation must indicate if the host company is covering the financial expenses of the applicant.
