Maurice Boucher was a notorious drug dealer, killer, and outlaw biker from Canada who was the former leader of the Montreal chapter of the Hells Angels.
Boucher was found guilty in 2002 of planning and ordering the killings of two prison guards in Quebec. This was done to topple the province’s judicial structure. As a result, Boucher was sent to Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines, Canada’s sole supermax prison, to serve three life sentences.
After surviving many assassination attempts carried out because of his notoriety while he was there, Boucher was placed in a separate jail section to isolate him and keep him safe from these attacks.
Boucher died on July 10, 2022, after fighting cancer for some time.
