Paul Marner and Bonnie Marner are the parents of Mitch Marner. Hockey player Marner mom and dad are from Markham Canada.
Mitch was also born in Markham a city in the Regional Municipality of York Ontario, Canada. And he spent most of his childhood living in the neighborhood of Thornhill Ontario.
Mitch Marner is a 21-year-old talent who brings speed and agility to his team. Marner was selected fourth overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, an exciting time for the Toronto-born player.
Marner wears the number 16 and has previously played for the London Knights Ontario Hockey League team where he wore the number 93 on his jersey.
Mitch grew up with his older brother Christopher Marner and his parents Bonnie and Paul Marner.

Mitch Marner was born as a second child to dad Paul and mom Bonnie Marner. Mitch is thus the youngest member of the family.
Mitch’s father and mother have been there for him since the very beginning. We can find a video interview of Mitch’s dad by CBC news taken back in February 2011.
During the time, Mitch was participating and playing at one of the most significant triple-A Peewee tournaments. And 12-year-old Mitch was playing in the team leading as a captain.
Little Mitch was also described as one of the best players on the team as Mitch’s father Paul can be seen recording videos of his games to review later.
In the interview, Paul states how familyhave to invest their time and money in their kids at this level.
Similarly, on the other hand, Mitch’s mom Bonnie seems more relaxed and fun-loving compared to his dad as we can look at an interview of his mother with the Toronto Maple Leafs where she talks about enjoying the whole process of letting their kids’ talent grow along the way.
We can also see mother Bonnie Marner flossing and showing off her dance moves as her son Mitchell scores goals several times. So, by looking at these few videos, Bonnie is more on the calm and composed side despite the intense environment during the matches.
Mitch Marner Has An Elder Brother
Mitch Marner has an elder brother named Christopher Marner. Mitch was born four years younger than his brother.
There is not much information related to his older sibling. But we can see a quick quirky video that was captured by Mitch 4 years ago as his brother was getting ready for the fireman training.
The video was posted by Hockey archives and we can see brother Chris dressed up in a fireman’s suit and ready to learn. So, Christopher has been working as a fireman saving lives.
Eventually, we can also find a few pictures in Mitch’s Instagram handles as the brothers share a frame beside each other. And, as Chris is the big brother, he could also be spotted attending events cheering up his little brother.
Until now, they are a small family of four. But the Marners have two pets: a cat named Burbank and a chocolate Labrador named Winston.
