Missy Franklin Wedding
Missy Franklin & Hayes Johnson Colorado Wedding Video at Columbine Country Club
Missy and Hayes wrote such emotionally powerful vows for their wedding that I literally had to stop looking at the camera monitor for a moment and pull myself together. As a storyteller, that is exactly what I’m after…that is why I think weddings offer something that very few documentary spaces can: raw, powerful, and unfiltered emotion. As 2020 takes off, from our environmental documentary work to our wedding work, I hope we continue to be witness to such real and authentic human moments. I plan to seek these moments out, and I hope to always capture these moments in a unique light so that when we relive these moments, they can move us all forward beautifuly. Thank you to all the amazing folks that brought this wedding together, to all the beautiful couples we’ve had the chance to work with this past decade, and to all the amazing collaborators who’ve pushed me personally and professionally! Cheers to 2020!
