Misha Nonoo is an American-based fashion designer, best known for her eponymous line of women’s ready-to-wear. She is reportedly the person who arranged for a first meeting and blind date between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in London.
Nonoo is Jewish and was born in Bahrain to an Iraqi father and an English mother. Her family moved to London when she was 11, and attended ACS Cobham school and Guildford High School in Surrey. She went further and graduated with a degree in French and International Business and Management Course.

Here’s what a day in the life of Misha Nonoo looks like, from the designer herself. The first thing I do in the morning is practice Transcendental Meditation for 20 minutes. It gets me in the right mindset for the day.
The first thing I drink is a matcha latte with almond milk. Mishi tries to exercise at least once a day for an hour or two before work. I am a Tracy Anderson devotee and go to her NY studio for all my classes. I also love walking Thatcher, my dog, to and from work every day.
My daily workout at Tracy Anderson is a moment for myself each day as is my meditation practice. My morning skincare regime is pretty minimal. I wash my face, apply Sarah Chapman’s SPF, use an Aurelia Probiotic Skincare day cream and put on some Bobbi Brown mascara.
I usually eat fairly lightly during the day and pick up a salad from near to my office if I don’t have a work lunch. My favorite spots to have work lunches are Lafayette, ABC V, and Casa Lever. When it comes to snacks, I have a terrible weakness for tortilla chips.
Other Tips
If I am ever feeling overwhelmed during the day, a few minutes of belly breathing helps me regain control. For dinner, I try and limit the amount of meat I eat choosing fish, chicken, and roasted vegetables most nights. I have recently cut out sugar and most carbs from my diet which has made a world of difference.
Having said that, I am a big believer in that if your body is craving something to indulge when you need to. I once did the eight-day fast at “We Care Spa” in the Palm Springs desert. I went with a girlfriend who checked out after day three, leaving me to brave it alone.
It ended up being one of the most incredible experiences and in hindsight perhaps best done alone. Though it was only after day five that the headaches stopped and I felt the benefits. The sound baths are incredible. We have so much noise in our day to day lives so it makes sense to meditate with noise too. MNDFL in New York uses crystal singing bowls and is based right around the corner from me so I try and visit when I can.
