Mintzy From Barstool Explains Bad Blood With President And Why He Could Get Fired

Mintzy from Barstool had a feud with president Dave Portnoy. Host Mintzy is next in line to leave the Barstool sports.

Ben Mintz is a radio host and sports personality, a digit content house popular for podcasts, blogs, and videos. He is best known among sports fans for his exceedingly exciting energy and positive aura.

He was raised on his family’s farm in Lake Washington, Mississippi Delta, but he is actually from Monroe, Louisiana. Mintz had to pick a team because his parents, an Ole Miss graduate and an LSU fan, supported their alma mater.

The famed star worked for ESPN Baton Rouge before joining Dave and the team. He went viral on the internet after a friend shared a video of Mintz cheering Hotty Toddy on Twitter in October 2020.

After a day, Dave Portnoy followed him on Twitter and offered to join the sports outlet. Ben Mintz then moved to New York City to start his new career.

Is Mintzy From Barstool Leaving?

Mintzy is one of the hardest working sports analysts in Barstool.

Reddit recently reported that he is leaving Barstool. However, nothing has been confirmed because he hasn’t made any declarations about quitting the network.

The network hired him in a very unusual way after going viral on Twitter for a video of him supporting the Ole Miss Rebels in a football game tweeted by a buddy.

Ben was hired as soon as founder Dave Portnoy watched the video. Before being hired, Ben was employed by ESPN Baton Rouge, the flagship station of LSU.

Speaking to Mintz, he is renowned for his infectious enthusiasm and upbeat demeanor. At least among Sports fans, especially those who share his love for the Rebels, a radio host has become well-known for his social media segments, punctuated by his signature “‘Sup fellas!” opening line and his frequent back-and-forth with rival Brandon Walker.

Additionally, he contributes to the “Cracking Aces” poker podcast and works on the company’s sports-related projects.

He also admitted that he still plays poker, even if a radio host doesn’t have as much time, and intends to participate in the World Series of Poker Main Event in years to come.

Why Mintzy Could Be Fired?

Dave Portnoy put up a poll asking if Mintzy should be fired. “Should Mintzy be fired?” Yes or No on Twitter.

52.3% of respondents highlighted a No response, while 47.7% indicated a Yes response.

His firing became a news story when two active trespassers were in the Barstool office. Two of them reportedly knew Ben Mintz. He returned to the studio when the two trespassers barged into the office, but the other workers arrived to help eject them, as mentioned on Vendettasportsmedia.

After that, a few inquiries appeared. How did the two intruders get into the office? Some individuals suggested Ben might have also been at fault for that. Mintz’s future may depend on Frank the Tank’s lie detector test results. Brandon Walker will probably be the most excited by this news given the rivalry between Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
