Mike Murillo Wrecked His Car During Race With Ryan Martin

Mike Murillo had a badly wrecked car while racing with Ryan Martin on September 23, 2022. Mike was involved in a crash while piloting Lafawnduh down the track at the No Prep Super Bowl Border race at Edinburg Raceway in Texas.

Nevertheless, Murillo was found in a safe cindition and is doing just fine. He is a for sure a little hazy considering the nature of the situation. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for his car.

He managed to escape the car after it caught on fire following a crash. A few of the bystanders helped him escape the vehicle and he wasn’t hurt. A few hours later, images of the wrecked car were published online and that did not look good.

Mike was, however, taken to the hospital nearby and released after a throughout check up.

From the looks of his car, it was a violent roll & as Mike says, he hasn’t felt like this since his football days. Luckily his expensive branded safety equipment and roll cage did their job & kept him safe.

Moreover, we are sad to see Lafawnduh in her current situation but glad she did her job and kept Mike safe. It will not take long before he and the rest of the Murillo Motorsports team will return and make a new breaking record in a faster Mustang.

When Did The Accident Take Place?

Reports confirmed that the Street Outlaws star was involved in a dangerous accident over the weekend of September 23, 2022.

Mike was up against his No Prep Kings co-star Ryan Martin when he wrecked his car and caught fire. At the 2015 NOo Prep Super bowl Wars race, he had a bad crash where his car’s front and back parts got totally destroyed. Still, his passion for racing lived.

Murillo has some injuries on his body, though he is fine as of now. His riding equipment helped him a lot to help prevent serious injuries.

The racer described the wreck as a “nightmare,” but he assured his fans and followers that he was safe and sound, adding, “Everything and everyone happened in your life for a reason.”

“I’m mostly fine physically, and that’s all that matters.” But, after some much-needed rest, we’ll talk about the content of these images and what we will do about it. “Thank you for everyone’s outreach, and y’all truly make us feel loved,” the reality TV star wrote.

Mike Murillo Health Update: Is He Fine?

Mike Murillo Confirms Midwest Street Cars’ Oklahoma Racing Is The Real Deal

Mike Murillo, a 14-time NMCA/NMRA champion, knows when racing is legitimate and when it isn’t. The newly minted reality star confirms that the TV action on Midwest Street Cars, based in Oklahoma, is authentic and that street racing is just as competitive, if not more so than drag racing.

Murillo has had a lot of fun racing “Lafawnduh,” his well-known Mustang, on the street while working with the Midwest Street Cars crew. “We’re not even running half the boost we run at the track,” Murillo says of one of the modifications he’s made to accommodate the concrete and blacktop surfaces he now races.

Street racers have recently been the focus of attention and controversy, with many in the racing community believing that such a strong emphasis on televised illegal and potentially dangerous activities is detrimental.

“Motorsports, in general, have begun to decline, but the fact that this ‘illegal’ street racing is attracting millions of fans is nothing but positive in my opinion,” he says.

With his time in Oklahoma ending, Murillo intends to participate in an upcoming Oklahoma rivalry game against another state. If given a chance, Murillo says he’d race “ALL of the Midwest Street Car guys!”
