Mike Day is a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Navy SEALs who is now retired.
From October 2006 and April 2007, he commanded a group of SEALs and Iraqi Army Scouts on over 140 Direct Action missions in Iraq.
He was shot 27 times by Al Qaeda terrorists in 2007 while on a mission in Iraq, yet he managed to live, and his inspiring tale of tenacity is told in his book “Perfectly Wounded.”
Additionally, he writes about his experiences in the book to encourage others to develop resilience and deal with obstacles in their own life.
Unfortunately, the news of his passing came out on March 28, 2023. The reason for his death was suicide.
