Mike Adams is a National Football League (NFL) safety veteran. Born Michael Carl Adams on March 24, 1981, the soccer player knew he wanted to play sports as a kid and it didn’t matter if it was soccer, baseball or basketball. He remembers playing soccer on the streets of his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey when he was ten years old, and eventually he chose this sport over the others because of his love for the sport.

A Wayne native of New Jersey, he attended PassaicCounty Technical Institute (PCTI) in Wayne before attending the University of Delaware, where he played college football. He began his professional career in 2004 as an uncalled free agent with the San Francisco 49ers and has since also played for the Cleveland Browns (five seasons), Denver Broncos (two seasons), Indianapolis Colts and currently the Carolina Panthers.

At the end of his third season with the team, Mike joined the Cleveland Browns, signing him to a two-year, $1.21 million contract on April 2, 2007. After the two-year deal expired, the team re-signed him to a three-year deal worth $4.10 million.

After the 2011 season, Mike Adams became a full free agent but did not receive a contract offer from the Browns despite his desire to return. However, he reportedly received offers from the Denver Broncos and three other teams. Along with the Broncos, he signed a two-year, $4 million contract with a $250,000 guarantee. He later bowed out towards the end of the 2013 season and became an unrestricted free agent.

He received interest from many teams but settled on the Indianapolis Colts and signed a 1-year, $1.01M contract with the team. In 2015, he signed a two-year, $4.85 million contract with a $1.20 million guarantee. After three successful seasons with the team that earned him two Pro Bowls, the Colts decided to drop Mike Adams, who turned 36 in 2017, in favor of his younger safeties.

Mike, not yet ready to quit the game, joined the Carolina Panthers on March 10, 2017.

In a 2016 interview, the superstar said he would throw the mic away at the end of his fifteenth season, which was in 2017. Likely delayed by the Panthers’ two-year deal, he could finally quit the game by the end of the 2018 season. The player attributes much of his success to strategic eating habits and a daily yoga routine.

Mike Adam’s wife

The former Indianapolis Colts player is married to his longtime partner Ariana Horry. She was born and raised in the Bronx, New York City, along with her five sisters. Ariana, an entrepreneur, met Mike at the University of Delaware from where they both received undergraduate and graduate degrees and they always had a great vibe.

According to the player’s wife, although she and Mike had known through college, they didn’t date until their senior year. While Mike was beginning his career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2004, she was beginning her freshman year. With the couple now in different cities, there was a need to bridge that gap and as a result, Ariana, who was working on her master’s degree in Delaware, had to fly to San Francisco for quite a while where he was playing for the 49ers.

After high school, she was offered a job at NBC as a digital researcher, and while working there she found out she was pregnant with her first daughter, Maya. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Cleveland, where Mike was at the time playing with the Browns. With her first child on board, Ariana gave up her love of research and analysis and became a full-time mom. In 2012, Mike Adams began playing for the Broncos and the family subsequently moved to Denver, where they had their youngest daughter, Avery, in 2013.

Though she definitely had a flair for it, having taken care of her family, Ariana began craving something more when her eldest daughter was around three years old. At the time, Maya was in preschool while Mike was busy with his soccer career. After having her second baby, Ariana took the bull by the horn and opened a beautiful baby boutique, Milk & Honey Babies.

The couple tied the knot on June 16, 2018 at aRoyalton Saint Lucia, Caribbean destination wedding, with friends, current and former teammates and members of his personal management team in attendance.

Height, weight and body statistics

The Carolina Panthers safety equipment has an average height of 1.80 m and weighs 91 kg. Unfortunately, his body stats are unavailable.

Mike Adams understands that as an athlete, eating right is a necessity for him to give a 100% performance on the field. To achieve this he eats a small portion of food 6 times a day like all athletes try to do, but what is different for him is that he only eats fish, turkey (no red meat, no pork) and all kinds of vegetables eats

He started this diet as an experiment for one season, then it grew to two and a half seasons. According to the player, he was feeling great and walking well so he decided to stay with him. A man really is what he eats and because of that Mike is very conscious of what he puts into his body. Aside from eating a healthy diet, he also does a number of daily yoga routines.
